Toulouse Geese

We are raising Toulouse Geese.  We purchased a breeding pair of these heritage breed birds.  This breed is currently under a watch status.  They are a dual-purpose goose, being fair egg layers, and a large sized goose for the table.  Our pair had 7 babies raised to adulthood and they kept my lawn mowed all summer so that I never had to!  Better job than I do too. Yvette has started laying and Mr. Dubois is extra-protective. As soon as it warms up we can let them start sitting!
